Hall Aleksandar Nikolic is the second largest sports arena in Belgrade after “Belgrade Arena“. It was opened in 1973 under the name “Hala Pionir“. The arena is located within the sports complex of Pionir, which is part of the SRC TASMAJDAN. It was renamed to Hala “Aleksandar Nikolic“ in 2016 in honor of the legendary basketball player and coach, Professor Aleksandar Nikolic.
Hall Aleksandar Nikolic has been the venue for decades for all national basketball, volleyball, and handball teams, as well as many European and world championships. In addition to sports events, it often hosts other cultural and entertainment manifestations.

Within this sports center, there is also an ice rink that is used for both recreational purposes and sporting events.
SPORT EVENTS
Currently, basketball players from Red Star Belgrade and Partizan train and play in it, but matches of all national teams in volleyball, handball, and basketball are often held as well. In addition to sports events, various other manifestations are frequently held in it.
