SPA CENTER

The beautifully renovated spa center features a range of modern facilities, including : COOLING POOL, FINNISH SAUNA, BIO SAUNA, STEAM BATH and SALT ROOM.

Do you know that sauna can work wonders for your health? Firstly, the heat in the sauna speeds up your heart rate, which can help improve circulation. This has positive effects on your heart, blood pressure, skin complexion, joint mobility, and internal organs. Sauna also helps cleanse your pores, strengthens and firms the skin, and can be beneficial in preventing colds and various inflammatory skin conditions.

COOLING POOL

The cooling pool is an essential part of the wellness experience that allows for a quick and efficient reduction of body temperature after staying in the sauna. This pool, filled with cold water, helps close the pores on the skin, improves circulation, and contributes to a feeling of freshness and revitalization.

Steps for using the cooling pool:

Preparation:

– After staying in the sauna, rest for a few minutes before entering the cooling pool.

– It is mandatory to shower before entering the pool to wash off sweat and impurities from the skin.

Benefits:

– Rapid cooling of the body after the sauna stimulates circulation, strengthens the immune system, and helps eliminate toxins.

– Increases energy levels and contributes to a feeling of freshness and relaxation.

Using the cooling pool is ideal for those who want to enhance their wellness experience by combining the thermal effects of the sauna with the refreshing action of cold water.

FINNISH SAUNA

The Finnish sauna is a room made of Abachi wood with an air temperature ranging from 70-100°C and low humidity of 10 to 15%. Just a few minutes in the sauna is enough to regenerate the skin, improve circulation, and speed up metabolism. The sudden change from hot air to a cold shower activates endorphins, the hormone that promotes feelings of pleasure and well-being. However, to enjoy the benefits of this magical wooden box, you must follow a few rules.

Steps for using the Finnish sauna:

Step 1: Preparation (10 minutes)

– It is not recommended to use the sauna 1.5 – 2 hours before a heavy meal.

– Before entering the sauna, it is mandatory to take a warm shower and dry your body thoroughly to ensure it is completely dry.

– You may only enter the sauna in a swimsuit and with a towel (without jewelry).

– Do not apply any creams to your body or face.

Step 2: First heating (8-15 minutes)

– It is recommended to start your first sauna session by sitting on the lower benches and gradually moving to the upper benches, depending on your comfort level.

– If you feel any discomfort, you should immediately leave the sauna and inform the therapist.

– It is not advisable to drink fluids during your time in the sauna; this should be done during breaks.

Step 3: Cooling the body – break (about 12 minutes)

– The higher the temperature in the sauna, the longer the time spent cooling the body should be.

– A brief cold shower, a few minutes of rest, and body hydration as needed.

– Cold baths (10 – 30 degrees), showering without soap.

Step 4: Reheating and cooling the body (10-15 minutes)

– Repeat steps 2 and 3 (no more than 3 times in total).

Step 5: Aftercare

– During and after using the sauna, it is not recommended to subject the body to physical exertion.

– It is advised to drink mineral water or natural juices in moderate quantities during breaks.

– Do not dress immediately after the treatment, as you will continue to sweat for a few more minutes.

– After showering, we recommend a massage for a double effect.

BIO SAUNA

The bio sauna is a combination of a Finnish sauna and a steam sauna. You can use this sauna for longer than the Finnish sauna, allowing relaxation to last up to 45 minutes. The steam sauna simulates the climate conditions of a tropical forest.

The bio sauna is essentially a milder version of the Finnish sauna. In a bio sauna, the temperature ranges from 40 to 60°C, and the humidity from 40 to 60%. The bio sauna can be used by those who cannot tolerate dry air and high temperatures. A steam generator allows steam to be released inside the sauna.

The steam is enhanced with the scent of essential oils, which you can choose according to your preferences. This combination has a positive effect on cleansing the skin and airways.

STEAM BATH

The most beneficial effect of a steam bath on the human body is at a temperature of 45 to 48°C, with air humidity reaching 100%.

Proper enjoyment lasts between 10 to 20 minutes, followed by a mandatory lukewarm to cold shower to stimulate the body. Since the enjoyment of a steam bath is repeated several times during one treatment, it is very important to cool down between sessions, refresh yourself with tolerably cold air and water, but without stressing the body – avoid shivering.

If you use a combination of sauna – steam bath, it is also mandatory to cool down the body between different types of baths.

SALT ROOM

In the room, using a special certified device, a halogenerator, dry, saturated air enriched with the finest particles of rock salt is blown in, creating the desired microclimate. The halogenerator provides a specific concentration (1 to 16 mg/m³) of dry salt aerosol (salt particles of 1 to 5 μm) under controlled conditions of temperature (18 to 25°C) and relative air humidity (40 to 60%).

The aerosol contains not only sodium chloride but also iron, calcium, magnesium, copper, zinc, lithium, selenium – minerals that participate in numerous physiological processes of the body. The microclimate of the salt room is hypoallergenic and aseptic (less than 200 saprophytic organisms/m³ of air) with a beneficial effect on human health.

Negative ions increase the amount of oxygen and serotonin levels in the brain, leading to increased mental energy while reducing feelings of apathy and depression, emotional instability, nervousness, and stress. Their optimal number neutralizes many allergens in the air while reducing the virulence of microbes. They positively affect breathing and heart function.

Salt therapy is used exclusively as an auxiliary method in the treatment of upper and lower respiratory organ diseases and skin. The highest attendance of the salt room is recorded among people who suffer from chronic allergies and those with other difficulties caused by breathing problems.
